Prethane rubber molds are an easy low cost method of reproducing many different products. They are easy to construct from and original carved piece of art or industrial part. Rubber molds are made by simply pouring liquid resins or brushing on Thixo gels over an item coated with a molding release agent. Within hours the cured molding material can be peeled from the objects surface. The finished mold can be refilled with a variety of casting materials to make either hard or flexible parts. We offer 15 different molding compound materials that vary in hardness from shore A 0 to 85. The softer molding compounds are used to create more abrasive concrete and masonry products. In addition to molding materials, we offer many polymer casting materials that can be poured into molds to create durable urethane parts with a variety of physical and wear properties.
